New Age of Empires 4 Expansion, The Sultans Ascend, is out!
The Sultans Ascend, the latest DLC of real-time strategy Age Of Empires has been released. A new 9.1.176 update has also come along with the expansion pack.

Age of Empires 4, which is developed by Relic Entertainment and published by Xbox Game Studios, has introduced its latest expansion pack. Furthermore, The Sultans Ascend is the biggest expansion pack of AoE 4 until now. So far Relic Entertainment and Xbox Game Studios tries to keep Age of Empires 4 up to date.
The Sultans Ascend is the biggest expansion pack of Age of Empires 4 so far. The expansion pack is released on Steam, Microsoft Store, and Xbox. New expansion introduces lots of new content such as civilizations, maps, biomes, single player campaigns and achievements.

What are new civilizations in The Sultans Ascend?
Together with 2 new civilizations, there are also new variant civilizations coming with the new expansion.
The Byzantines
The Byzantines adds new gameplay features into Age of Empires 4. For example, they can harvest oil, which is a new resource. Additionally, The Byzantines has ability to build aqueducts and hire mercenaries from other civilizations. Moreover, when they complete a construction they earn a small amount of stone. Also, the larger building gets, the more stone they earn.

The Japanese
The Sultans Ascend has also introduced The Japanese, one of the most requested civilizations so far. The Japanese have more than one unique units and buildings that have more than one purposes. Another key feature of The Japanese is that they earn stone when they mine gold. So even when they have no access to stone, they will earn 20% of the gold they mine as stone.
