Krafton’s new life simulation game inZOI to come with impressive graphics
PUBG’s developer Krafton has announced its new life simulation game inZOI, featuring hyper-realistic graphics and impressive in-game mechanics.

Announced with Krafton’s statement of “a unique experience blurring the line between reality and fantasy“, the new life simulation game inZOI looks impressive. With graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5 and its in-game mechanics, inZOI rivals EA’s The Sims series as a hyper-realistic game. The trailer was revealed at G-Star 2023, an annual game exhibition held in South Korea.

Game Mechanics and Graphics
Characters
inZOI and The Sims have familiar in-game mechanics in common. These include creating characters and families, designing houses, adopting pets and more. Instead of a “Sim”, the players will create a custom avatar, or “Zoi” in this virtual world. The custom characters will have personality traits and basic needs such as hunger, happiness, and hygiene.
Zois can even seek love interests, and If they become couples, players have the option to play as both characters. Players can also observe the characters performing the commands they give. The unique traits of characters will allow dynamic interactions with others.

Streamers testing the beta version of inZOI appreciate its stunning graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5. The game showcases an extensive range of details, including furniture design, dynamic weather and change of seasons. Intricate facial textures of characters seem particularly impressive.
Apartments and Home Decors
Players can design their apartments to their liking.
Aside from character creation, players can create their dream home. They can choose between a pre-build home or a custom lot. Every aspect of an apartment can be modified to the liking of players. The game features many home decors, and players will be able to choose from plenty of item assets. Furthermore, vacuum cleaners are not included merely for cosmetic reasons!
Game Map and City
Although there is not much information about the game’s map at the moment, the city shown in the trailer will present a vast region to players. Similar to character models, the cities comes with impeccably detailed environments as well. Sandbox cities inspired by real-world locations will feature skyscrapers as well as home areas.
Players can take a stroll through streets, socialize, get to know other characters, and even have the opportunity to attend recreational activities suiting their skills and interests. Careers available in The Sims 4 are also divided into different options in inZOI.
Release date and supported platforms
The release date of inZOI has not been revealed, and the supported platforms have not been announced yet. Although a demo version was shown in G-Star 2023, the game is it is still under development, and whether it features multiplayer mode is currently unknown. Further optimizations and gameplay additions may be implemented before its release.
