Developed by Maxis and The Sims Studio and released by Electronic Arts in 2014, The Sims 4 features a new expansion pack, Lovestruck, released on June 25, 2024.
The supported platforms include PC (Origin, Epic Games Store, and Steam), Mac, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
In The Sims 4: Lovestruck, players can create flirt profiles for their Sims on the Cupid’s Corner app, go on exciting dates, meet other Sims, and flirt with them!
Sims will Experience Romatic Satisfaction
Turn-Ons and Turn-Offs will determine how attracted Sims are to each other, including interests, interactions, and more. Sims can get to know their partners, build relationships, and maintain Romantic Satisfaction.
In this expansion pack, Romance is a skill that unlocks seductive interactions. Sims can even earn an Aura of Flirtiness. They can also devote themselves to love with new aspirations and a new career. Sims can even become romance consultants as their profession.
Since Sims have likes, dislikes, and different interaction preferences, their partners might have varying satisfaction levels as well.
The Sims 4: Lovestruck Features Different Relationship Dynamics
How Sims interact with each other will affect whether their Relationship Dynamic, which develops between Sims as a reflection of the type of romantic relationship they have together.
There are four different dynamics: Wholesome, Steamy, Strained, and Unpredictable.
- Wholesome: A relationship between two Sims who are genuinely in love and show it through their actions, both friendly and romantic.
- Steamy: Sims’ relationship focused on physical intimacy.
- Strained: A dynamic in which two Sims that are still romantically involved, but are often unhappy with each other and treat each other unkindly.
- Unpredictable: A dynamic in which Sims go back and forth between fighters and lovers. They may fight one second, but kiss and make up the next.
