Daeadlic Entertainment and developer DALOAR (formerly Pentakill Studios) have released a cinematic announcement trailer for their first-person narrative-based psychological horror game The Occultist.
The story revolves around paranormal investigator Alan Rebels, who travels to a mysterious island to uncover the truth behind his father’s mysterious disappearance.
The Occultist’s gameplay centerpiece is Alan’s mystical pendulum, which you can interact with and manipulate the environment. This pendulum will be an important part of solving puzzles and stealth areas that you will encounter. Using his mystical pendulum and paranormal abilities, Alan must interact with or avoid sinister spirits in dangerous places in GodStone. The game will offer gameplay focused more on stealth than combat, featuring challenging puzzles and an immersive narrative.
The Occultist is planned to be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2025. You can watch the announcement trailer below.
