Gamescom 2024 has started: Here are the games of the night!

Gamescom 2024, hosted by Geoff Keighley, has begun in Cologne, Germany. We’re excited to share all the details from the Opening Night Live event with you.

Gamescom 2024, hosted by Geoff Keighley, began with the Opening Night Live event on its first day.

The two-hour presentation features new and surprising games, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Monster Hunter Wilds, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Little Nightmares 3, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, Batman: Arkham Shadow, Dune Awakening, Marvel Rivals, Squid Game: Unleashed, a new game from Tarsier Studio, Sid Meier’s Civilization 7, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, and Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

Borderlands 4

Developed by Gearbox, Borderlands 4 will be released in 2025 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Dying Light: The Beast

Set in the post-apocalyptic Castor Woods—a once-popular tourist destination—this new installment promises an exhilarating zombie adventure that stands on its own, separate from the main game. Plus, if you grab the Ultimate Edition of Dying Light 2 Stay Human, you’ll get Dying Light: The Beast at no extra cost.

Civilization 7

The seventh game in the Civilization series, Civilization 7, will be available for PC and consoles on February 11, 2025. The game is available for pre-order at $70.

Starfield: Shattered Space

The first major expansion for Starfield, Shattered Space, will be available on September 30, 2024.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

The gameplay trailer for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has been released. However, fans can look forward to a major 20-minute showcase tomorrow.

Mafia: The Old Country

Developed by the California-based American video game developer Hangar 13 and published by 2K, the new mafia game Mafia: The Old Country will be released in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms.
