Assassin’s Creed Shadows Revealed With Cinematic Trailer!

After the long silence, Ubisoft showed off the first look at the series next flagship game with two trailers, many editions, and a release date. The series’ fans have long wanted it to come true. Previously known as Codename Red, Assassin’s Creed Shadows takes the series to feudal Japan for the first time. Like AC: Syndicate, Assassin’s Creed: Shadows will again have two different playable characters. In Feudal Japan, players will control an agile shinobi armed with a hidden blade named Naobe and a real historical figure first black samurai Yasuke. The ambitious open-world game Assassin’s Creed Shadows coming on November 15 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Mac.
As always, the series did not break tradition and introduced its characters with a cinematic trailer. Those who want to see the gameplay video will have to wait until Ubisoft Forward on June 10th.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is being developed by Ubisoft Québec, and directed by Jonathan Dumont–Charles Benoit. In an interview with IGN, Ubisoft said that only some missions are character-specific and that you can approach the game as an action RPG or stealth game if you want. The decision is up to you. Additionally, Dumont said that Assassin’s Creed: Shadows map size will be similar to Assassin’s Creed Origins.
This new entry includes a bunch of new features for the series. These include a light meter that shows how much cover you have, a new type of NPCs called servants who won’t fight you but will alert enemies and call in reinforcements, and seasonal updates that change with the day from spring to winter. Players will still have access to Eagle Vision to track nearby enemies but you will no longer have a bird companion to detect enemies. In addition, light sources, shadows and weather in the game will have an important role in the gameplay. Yasuke and Naoe will have their own skill trees, equipment and resources.
