Game Science has announced that Black Myth: Wukong has sold 10 million copies across all platforms in 3 days.

On August 23, Game Science announced on X that Black Myth: Wukong had surpassed 10 million sales with three million concurrent players across all platforms. The action RPG inspired by Journey to the West has surpassed the early sales records of games like Elden Ring and Hogwarts Legacy. As the game continues to sell rapidly, the number of players is expected to increase even further. This is an incredible achievement for such a company. After this huge success, Game Science seems to be on its way to becoming an industry giant.

Black Myth: Wukong, also has broken the record for the number of concurrent players on Steam. It achieved 2,415,714 players and has become the most-played single-player game on the platform, surpassing Cyberpunk 2077. It also became the second most-played game of all genres behind PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS (3,2 million). According to the data, the game’s players are mostly in China, but there is a large audience in the West as well.
