Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty

Cyberpunk 2077 became the focus of heavy criticism due to the problems it caused to the players when it was first released. All of the released updates targeted performance problems, visual errors and gameplay problems. The game has made a big splash with the 1.5 update and seems to make its followers happy with the new expansion pack.

When will Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty be released?

Cyberpunk 2077’s first expansion pack will launch in 2023 although CD Project Red has said it will offer free DLCs in 2022 to make up for the game’s troublesome launch. Along with the announcement, a short promotional video for the Phantom Liberty expansion pack is released.

In the trailer, we see hints of what Phantom Liberty has to offer us. Keanu Reeves, who appears as Johnny Silverhand in the game, will appear again in Phantom Liberty. Silverhand can be heard warning V about their oath of allegiance to the “New United States” in the released video.

Gabriel Amatengelo, who served as Cyberpunk 2077 game director, made the following comments about Phantom Liberty:

What platforms is Phantom Liberty coming to?

We have bad news for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users. Unfortunately, Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty will not be making its way to PS4 and Xbox One consoles. The expansion pack will be available on PC, Google Stadia, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms.

The upcoming package will also include the 1.6 update. This update will come to all consoles where the game is playable. However, CD Project Red has announced that the 1.6 update will be the last update for PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
