Bandai Namco and From Software shared a new story trailer for Elden Ring DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree.
The trailer reveals new information about the new villain, Messmer the Impaler, a powerful demigod from the Elden Ring storyline. It also hints at what sent the demigod Miquella to a new land that was crushed under the tyranny of Messmer’s fire and for which Miquella sacrificed himself. The trailer ends with Miquella’s followers joining forces and calling on the new warriors to join them in their journey to dethrone Messmer.
Shadow of the Erdtree will send players into an uncharted region known as the Land of Shadow. Players will explore this dark land and follow in the footsteps of the mysterious Empyrean Miquella.
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on June 21.
