11 bit Studios announces a new series called City Unbound, in which developers and designers talk about Frostpunk 2.

Surprisingly, 2 weeks ago 11 bit Studios announced that they delayed the release of their upcoming post-apocalyptic strategy game, Frostpunk 2, for about 2 months. Instead of releasing updates after the launch, they chose to add some features that people were looking forward to on the first day. For this reason, we will have to wait a bit more to play Frostpunk 2.
Following these news, the first episode of Frostpunk 2 City Unbound showed up. The series will show off new features of Frostpunk 2 through the words of the game’s producers and designers. In the first episode Jakub Stokalski, game and design director of Frostpunk 2, has shared information regarding the city-building survival game. To sum up, the first episode has set the setting of the oncoming game while showing brief gameplay sequences.
Frostpunk 2 begins right after The Captain, the leader of the first game, dies. As the new leader, we will take control of the Metropolis and try to survive while dealing with the harsh conditions brought by freezing weather. Furthermore, we will be working with different factions to increase the life standards. Every single faction is going to offer their own solutions about the troubles you will face. Therefore, it is up to you to decide on which faction to work with to offer the best answers for your people. Finally, Stokalski has said that in the forthcoming episodes they will be providing more information.
