Genshin Impact’s latest update reveals the new character, Emilie!

Developed by Cognosphere and released in September 28, 2020, Genshin Impact continues to bring new characters, regions and event minigames with the new updates. The upcoming version, available to players on July 17, will introduce a new five-star character.
The new five-star character Emilie will focus on creating burning reactions to deal damage to enemies. Additionally, players will be able to enjoy new summer island Simulanka and obtain new skins for Nilou and Kirara.
New features for Genshin Impact Version 4.8 “Summertide Scales and Tales”
- New Game Map: The new time limited island Simulanka will feature unique origami creatures and mechanical enemies.
- New Characters: The new five-star Dendro polearm character Emilie will deal more damage to enemies inflicted with burning state.
- New Character Skins: New skins for Kirara and Nilou. While Kirara’s skin can be obtained for free during the event, Nilou’s skin will be available on a discount for the duration of the update.
- Event Activities: Various mini-games and open-world activities with rewards.
- Optimizations: Original Resin can be consumed to obtain daily quest rewards. Spawn duration for world bosses has been decreased. Characters will have a special effect while sprinting.
- Evet Wish Banners: Navia and Nilou will be featured in the first half, while Emilie and Yelan will be on second half of the event wish banners.
