In 2022, Remedy announced that it would remake the cult third-person shooter Max Payne 1 and 2 as part of a collaboration with Rockstar. More than two years after the official announcement, Remedy Entertainment has confirmed that the Max Payne 1 & 2 remake finally has entered full production. With this, we are one more step closer to the game’s release. The developers are currently working on making the game playable from start to finish. Remedy Entertainment had previously confirmed that the remakes will be AAA quality.
Not much is known about the Max Payne 1 & 2 remakes at this point. The game’s release date has also not yet been confirmed.
Remedy not only talked about the Max Payne 1 & 2 remakes, but also announced that Control 2 has entered the “production readiness stage.”
