Town of Salem 2 roles
There are three different roles in the role-playing game Town of Salem 2. These are Town, Coven and Neutral. Here are the Town of Salem 2 roles in full detail!
Town roles
Cleric
The role of Cleric, or actually the doctor, is to protect one person in the town every night. He can also protect himself for just one day by choosing to stay at home at night. It provides Powerful Defense when protecting someone else or yourself. At the same time, if the person he protects has Poison, he can heal him for one night, and in the morning he can see if anyone attacked the person he protected. It has no attack and no defense when not protected.
Investigator
Investigator The task of our Investigator, actually detective role, is to investigate a player’s house every night and get information if any crime has occurred. If the person he is investigating attacks someone that night, he can see it in the morning. This role has no attack or defense. His only job is to search the houses and provide information to other town members in the morning.
Mayor
Mayor is the mayor of our town. The mayor does not have duties such as attack, defense or research. After day 1, he can declare himself Mayor and all players will see it. After declaring, each vote given to the player on the gallows counts as 3 votes. Additionally, once the Mayor declares, at night he cannot be protected by any role.
Seer
In the role of Seer, two players are chosen every night and it is learned whether these players are enemies or friends. If there is a Mayor who has declared himself, he cannot choose him and himself with another player. He can also see someone enchanted by the Enchanter as an enemy, or a player cast by the Illusionist as a friend. It has no attack or defense. This role is new, not present in the first game, and I think it is one of the most enjoyable roles to play.
Sheriff
Sheriff is responsible for the security of the town. He can investigate one player each night to see if that person is a suspect or innocent. However, he can see someone enchanted by the Enchanter as an enemy, or a player cast by the Illusionist as a friend. At the same time, the Coven Leader is not seen as a criminal by the Sheriff because he has the power of The Necronomicon. This role has no attack or defense.
Tavern Keeper
Tavern Keeper, the owner of the tavern, chooses one player every night and forces him to drink. In this way, the player is Roleblocked, that is, he cannot do what he will do that night. The player who was Roleblocked can see this the next day and cannot be Roleblocked again the next night because he will be “hangover”. This effect lasts for one night. Also, if the person Roleblocked by Tavern Keeper is Serial Killer, our tavern owner will die that night. This role has no attack or defense.
Vigilante
Vigilante, the town’s lawless member. The task of this role is to kill a person at night based on the information given by other town members. He has three kills in total and cannot use his ability at first night because he loads his gun. If the person he kills is not Town, he continues to live and can use other killing rights. But if the person he killed is a town, he is executed by the Town Hangman.
Veteran
Veteran, the paranoid war hero of the town. The task of this role is to stay at home and choose whether to alert or not. He has the right to alert three times, and if anyone comes to visit him the night he is on alert, he will kill that person. In the morning, he can see if he killed anyone or how many people he killed.
Deputy
Deputy is one of the new roles we saw that was not in the first game. We can actually think of this role as the daytime version of the Vigilante role. He can choose to kill someone he deems guilty based on evidence given by other players in the morning. Again, like Vigilante, if the person he kills is from a town, he is executed by the Town Hangman; if not, our deputy continues to live. There is only one right to kill.
Admirer
Admirer, the lover of our town. The task of this role is to choose a player during the day and make a marriage proposal at night. If the player accepts the offer, both parties can see each other’s roles. If the proposed person is in town, he is protected by the Admirer at night, gaining Powerful Defense and healing all negative effects. If the proposed person is not a town, a Toxic Relationship begins and the Admirer cannot speak in any way the next day.
