Valorant released Episode 5 on June 22. While the long-awaited new map Pearl has come to the game, the Split map has been removed from the map pool for a while. According to the Riot Games statement, it is not clear when it will come back but there will certainly be some changes on the map.
In competitive mode, the rank system from low to high was Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Immortal, and, finally Radiant. From now on, with the new update, Ascendant has been added between the Diamond and Immortal ranks. The highest number of players are available at the Bronze and Silver ranks, and when these ranks rise, it’s obvious that there is a huge density in the Diamond and Platinum ranks. For this reason, Riot games worked on being attentive to protect the esteem of high ranks and define the abilities of gamers in all ranks. In summary, player distribution is desired to be done more accurately.
Bugs in Jett’s Tailwind, Sova’s Recon Bolt, Fade’s Haunt, and Chamber’s Tour de Force skills were fixed. Finally, the Episode 5: Act 1 battle pass and the new skin set called Prelude to Chaos were included in the game.
