- 25 Mart’ta kazananların açıklanacağı BAFTA Oyun Ödülleri için adaylar belirlendi.
- Listede 13 dalda adaylık ile geçen yılın 11 adaylık rekorunu kıran bir oyun var.
- 17 kategoride değerlendirilen oyunlardan Yılın EE Oyunu halk oylaması ile belli olacak.
2021 BAFTA
Sunucu ve gazeteci Elle Osili-Wood sunumuyla gerçekleşecek olan BAFTA oyun ödülleri organizasyonunu üstlenenlere göre bu yılın gösteri formatı olarak “evdeki seyirciye odaklanma” ve “oyunların hayatımızdaki rolü” teması vurgulanacak.
Geçtiğimiz yılın rekorunu kıran aday
Naughty Dog tarafından geliştirilen, Haziran 2020’de yayınlanan The Last of Us Part 2, ilki 17 yıl önce gerçekleştirilen BAFTA oyun ödüllerinde tasarımcısından oyun severlerine birçoklarının gurur kaynağı olacak. Emilia Schatz ve Ricky Cambier’in tasarladığı oyun 13 farklı dalda aday gösterildi. Bundan önceki rekor 11 adaylık ile Remedy Entertainment Ltd yapımı Control oyununa aitti.
Gelelim diğer öne çıkan adaylara
Çok sevilen dövüş oyunu Ghost of Tsushima, 10 dalda aday gösterilerek BAFTA’ya bir diğer damga vuran oyun oluyor. Hades, toplam sekiz dalda, Marvel’s Spider Man: Miles Morales ve Dreams ise 7 kategoride aday. Nintendo’nun Animal Crossing: New Horizons oyunu ile Mediatonic’in geliştirip Devolver Digital’in yayınladığı Fall Guys toplam 5 dalda, Half-Life: Alyx, Cyberyberpunk 2077 ve Sackboy: A Big Adventure ise 4 farklı dalda listede yer alıyorlar. Aday oyunlara bakıldığında Playstation özel oyunları listede öne çıkıyor.
