Horsham merkezli İngiliz video oyun geliştirme şirketi Creative Assembly, 28 Ağustos 1987 yılında kuruldu. Total War serisi ile meşhur olan şirket, 1993 ile 2000 yılları arasında EA Sports’un distribütörlüğü altında spor oyunları da geliştirmiştir.
2005 yılında SEGA tarafından 30 milyon dolara satın alınan Creative Assembly, SEGA Europe‘nın bir parçası olarak çalışmalarını sürdürüyor. Mart 2017’de Creative Assembly, aralık 2016’da kapatılan Crytek Black Sea‘nin satın alındığını duyurdu. Bu, Creative Assembly’nin yurtdışında açtığı ilk stüdyo oldu. Stüdyonun adı Creative Assembly Sofia olarak değiştirildi.
- Creative Assembly Sofia’nın eski çalışanlarının kurduğu bağımsız oyun stüdyosu Black Sea Games, Knights of Honor serisinin ikinci oyunu Knights of Honor II: Sovereign’i geliştiriyor. THQ Nordic tarafından yayımlanacak.
